Exam Fee Reimbursement
For Students
Don't forget that due to the generosity of a number of firms, if you pass Exam P or FM, you can get your exam fees reimbursed by the Actuarial Science Program. The Actuarial Science Program will not reimburse you if you do not pass, and only Exams P and FM are reimbursable. More information and forms for reimbursement can be found here.

Group Texting Issues
For Students
As some of you may or may not be aware of, there were some issues on Monday, October 17th with the Group Texting system. The program began kicking out members for unnecessary reasons that could not be helped. To halt the unavoidable influx of messages notifying the deletion of members, the groups were deleted. The webmaster, Lauren, is currently looking into alternative options for the remainder of the year. She apologizes for any inconvenience the issue may have caused and thanks you for your patience. Deadline to Sign Up for Exam P
For Students
This is just a reminder for those of you who want to take Exam P. This exam will be offered at various times from Thursday, November 17th til Tuesday, November 29th. The deadline to sign up is Friday, October 6th.

Volunteer Tutors Needed for Exam Study Groups
For Students
This year ASC will be having exam study groups for FM and P. We will need people who have already passed the exam and can come each week to help students studying for these exams. Study groups will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 PM on Tuesdaysand Wednesdays. We can adjust this if needed. You will be used as a resource and be expected to help students with problems and answer their questions. Study groups will not start until after Meet the Firms, but we are compiling a list if people interested in tutoring now.
